Jacek Paweł Siedlec has been creating his paintings for over a dozen years, inspired by impressionist artists such as: Claude Monet, Auguste Renoir, Alfred Sisley, Camille Pissarro, Władysław Podkowiński and Leon Wyczółkowski. The paintings painted by the artist are characterized by a typical for the impressionists, a pastel palette of colors, a play of light and shadows in which multi-colored small spots and layering impastas, applied with short brush strokes, form a coherent whole. The subject of the works is primarily water, melancholic landscape, beauty of nature. While the Impressionists They did not seem to pay attention to details, the artist undoubtedly strives to combine impression with realism, focusing on rendering more legible details.
