Biography:

Roman Kornecki – born in 1959 in Skarżysko Kamienna, by profession fire technician, passionate painter. He paints for many years, and his favorite technique it’s oil and graphics.

The subjects of his works are picturesque landscapes often enriched with a motive expressing the longing of people for the village, nature and sun. Drawing inspiration from Dutch painting – raises the simplest views to the rank of an independent motif – forest corners cut through a sandy road, wide-spilled river bends, flat spaces meadows and fields with picturesque groups of trees. The landscape is illuminated by soft, diffused light and the delicate blue sky.

He participated in many open air and painting exhibitions in Poland. Is member of the Society of Friends of Fine Arts in Kielce. He works in the club “SKART” amateurs at the ICC in Skarżysko Kamienna where also exhibits his work.
